Blokes BBQ

  Friday all the guys headed down to Yatton park for a BBQ, ginger beer and games. I helped to cook the BBQ. We spent most of the day there and had so much fun. A fantastic way to end a good week.

 In guys group session, I made a rubber band car. Next week I am hoping to make the mods so I can race it against the other guys!!!

 I went on an outing with the lads to visit our friend lania in her cafe, I was really lucky and a feed of chips, yum!

 We are studying Japan in culture studies at the moment and i really enjoy it, here i made a crane out of paper and also practicing my skills with chop sticks! so much fun

 Today is my 31st birthday. I had a great day with all my friends. Wendy brought me in pizza to share with my friends. I also shared a delicious cake with my friends. What an awesome day 🎂

The glow show

 Today I went to see ‘the glow show’ at bay court. I enjoyed dancing to the music.

 Today I helped to plant corn seeds. I did an amazing job putting the potting soil in.

Kati kati trip

Last friday we traveled  to kati kati to see the vintage collection and ride in the old fords, I had alot of fun riding in the cars

Irish Scottish the dancers

Today we were very lucky to have some dancers come to do the highland fling for us at the centre. A mixture of Irish and Scottish traditional dances and songs. They were so talented and the costumes were beautiful.

Today Lily brought her dog, Sally, into work for the day. I enjoyed taking her on a walk around Yatton Park.

I am enjoying roasting vegetables today in cooking.  I cut a huge potato and I tossed the veggies.

Face time of police guys

In my guys group session, I went to the Chemist Warehouse to check out the latest mens aftershave. I wasnt too sure at first if I wanted to try one but eventually I picked out on. I smelled good.

Work out and harder to get fit

This morning I put my gloves on grabbed the rake and got out in the back garden to tidy it up. I pulled lots of weeds and raked up all the leaves. I deserve a rest after all that hard work!

Great fun and lots to learning new opportunities

This morning in gardening I planted some beans into some potting mix. I watered them and will watch them grow over the next few weeks. Then once they have sprouted we will put the, into the centre garden.

I am having an amazing time today playing Ben 10 memory match games.

Today I took part in a floristry session. I really enjoyed myself - I made a flower arrangement and I wore a leaf crown.

My first day back at Arohanui today (Thursday). I got to visit the water park in The Lakes and stopped by Lania's cafe to say hi (hot chocolate and hot chips too!)

Today we read a book called “Swim.” This is a Maori legend about Lake Rotorua. We also coloured some pictures of other legends.

I love having snuggles with the baby chicks we hatch at work, it will be fun to see them grow.

Fishing

Today we got to go fishing, i was so happy i caught the only fish, but i had to throw it back and wait till he gets bigger, then we went to worlds end for a lemonade.
